Gov. Cuomo Continues Talks With Unions

A day after the Working Families Party executive committee discussed a potential challenge to Gov. Cuomo, the governor had a phone discussion with at least two union leaders Wednesday, two sources said.

The sources said following a morning budget negotiating session with legislative leaders, Cuomo spoke with Peter Ward, president of the New York Hotel and Motel Trades Council, and Kevin Finnegan, political director for 1199 SEIU.
