City public schools to add over 4000 new pre-K seats this fall

City public schools will add 4,268 new full-day pre-kindergarten seats this fall as part of Mayor de Blasio’s universal pre-K push, he announced Wednesday.

With $300 million in place from the state budget, the city has tapped 140 schools across the five boroughs for the new pre-K seats.

“We now go into full gear,” de Blasio said

This is why I wished they raised taxes on the rich so thst we would have enough to spread hrmjustin Apr 2014 #4

enough from the budget. They got some money but not enough.

Getting leftovers and hand me downs.

The children here are wonderful. They deserve a bigger piece of the educational pie.

When I managed an ice cream store, my best employees where local high school juniors and seniors.
