Just from eye-balling the Statewide table, looks like Alleghany is the highest at a whopping 30.10%, and Wake the lowest at 15.50%.

(19,841 posts)the rate of uninsured has gone down by 2010 seems to be in the counties with large student populations. Coverage for young adults up to age 26 on parents' plans became effective on Sept. 23, 2010...
But a lot of the rest of the state is either not much change or have even more uninsured from 2006 to 2010.

(123 posts)I'm looking for a resource that compares these numbers to rates if the legislature had opted to expand medicaid. Seen anything around?

(11,441 posts)I'm also looking for data that compares NC to the Mid-Atlantic region overall -- seems that's where the ACA action is. MD, DE and even WV have expanded Medicaid. Hell, even Kentucky. I want to follow those states, particularly for unemployment. NC is now 3rd highest unemployment and Medicaid expansion would have provided 23,000, according to estimates.
