I just got off stage. And I found out that were only $4,824 away from reaching our Debate Day Goal of $25,000.

(22,691 posts)He didn't really say much. Disrespected her, tried to align her directly with our "evil" "Obama" and mostly talked about himself and the typical RW talking points. She was civil, he was arrogant and egocentric.
Clearly, I just despise the man.
He is the wrong answer for our state, for So.Many.Reasons.

(2,825 posts)The guy moved down here from suburban DC in 1998. No way in that amount of time could he naturally sound like Bill Clinton (even puts a catch in his voice). I first heard his newly sounding "southerness" in his latest commercial and did a double take.
Frank Eaton, a democratic activist was interviewed on that Time Warner local station--Capital Tonight. He was shown a clip of Tillis's commercial and he burst out laughing. He said Tillis doesn't sound "southern" in real life, and he thought the Bill Clinton imitation was hysterical. He has met the guy in person many times.
The fake accent thing ticked me off too much--I couldn't watch.
