The Republican Party is clearly insane. They keep spouting the same rhetoric and trying to push the same old trickle-down your leg economic policies that have never worked. Reality trumps theory.

As Reagan said" "Trust but verify". We trusted, they lied!

I thought the Morrisville stop was odd - and now it looks like after they talked the Smokey's owner into opening up on their only day off, they cancel. What jerks. I know Matt will be there (whoop de do) but the crowd will be much smaller. Wonder if the rmoney folks will help defray the bill?

Mooresville makes much more sense as a campaign stop anyway - nascar and all. High Point seems like an odd choice - unless there is some connection to the HPU prez, I would think it's an area that won't get too excited about rmoney and sidekick.

I have a feeling that a lot of Southerners are going to think about this vp selection long and hard and feel it comes up very short. The gop doesn't need a southerner on the ticket, but now they have basically 2 rich Yankees ... the teabillies (I just love that!) may stay away. I'm pretty sure a vote for Obama is out of the question though.

lol
