I signed us up for it, then later thought better of it because I didn't watch any of the debates in 2008 and I am superstitious. But she guilted me into going by saying she's tired of me looking at DU all the time by myself and not sharing things with her (but I do!). She should talk, she just got an iPhone and suddenly is enraptured by it.

while I think it would be great fun-I want to be able to hear everything and see the screen well and those group events are usually pretty loud. So I'm on the cusp. But I am leaning towards being right here, on my couch, with my cat Sophie...

of hard if you have several people and everyone is talking. The only thing I have to worry about are my little dogs start barking. Usually that means a wild animal is outside.

It will be interesting to see how the right wingers act. Also, not being afraid to start crap with them, I anticipate an eventful evening

I did give my beloved a choice though... for date night we could either go to Lowes home improvement and peruse the tool isle, or go start crap with fundie right wingers during the debates. I always show my baby a good time

My oh-so-fine-S/O decided that I shouldn't have a guest spot on the evening news for whipping teabilly butt. Anyway, much enjoyment was had yelling at the television screen, hurling insults, making up curse words because the normal ones wouldn't do, singing drunken Irish pub songs......and that was just from my S/O!

(oh she is going to kill me when she sees this tomorrow morning... )

I did however enjoy the debate. I thought that Obama comported himself like a true gentleman and acted in a very presidential way. Rmoney on the other hand acted like a spoiled child.
