Isue 2 gives power to voters and therefore takes some from politicians. The repubs are spending a lot of money to prevent citizens of both parties from stopping the gerrymandering being used to obstruct the will of the people. Vote Yes. Tell everyone to vote yes, and to be proud of standing up for representative government in Ohio. This issue if enacted will get rid of much of the extremism exhibited by our politicians and make the members of the House we send to Congress more willing to compromise and work for the people. Vote yes on Issue 2. It is the American way.

I would rather preserve the status quo than allow an execrable union-busting law to get enacted, then figure out how to fund pensions, because once an abomination like Issue 2 goes into effect, you cannot un-ring that bell.

This legislation is fully supported by the League of Women Voters and is designed to take extreme gerrymandering out of the process. Thanks to Rethuglican redistricting, my state house district is a 50-mile long bowling alley, which will make it a nightmare for anyone who actually might WANT to represent the district. The city of Akron is shattered for congressional representatives ... In some areas people living within blocks of each other now have different representatives.

And for Jim Renacci? They magically drew in Timken so he could rake in all of their "good government" donations.

Of course much money will be spent to defeat this proposal. Head out to League of Women Voters to learn more. //www.lwvohio.org/

The Disgrace is seldom right but never in doubt (okay, it is also almost always right-WING).
