maybe 5 miles from the house. They have really expanded in the last few years as its such a good draw. Its now 5.00 at the gate but we hike in from Sunset Bay.
The kids love it and spend hours walking around. It has been rather cold here though, for the Coast anyway, hasn't rained in 12 days!

Baking like crazy (and loving every minute of it) Pies, Banana Bread and 6 varieties of cookie so far.
I'm gonna be fat as Santa before the new year, lol!

On Dec. 22nd I was busy all day making salt scrubs with my grandson; his holiday gift to all. Then I took him to his fencing club, and finally arrived home exhausted and happy.

Today? I'm enjoying one of the last days of winter break before diving back into the mess at work next week, and getting ready to go clean the barn.
