1. GET REGISTERED
Get registered to vote with your current name, at your current address, by 30 days
before Election Day.
To be registered for the November 6th, 2012 General Election, you must register no
later than October 9th, 2012.

2. WHAT TO BRING
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE one of these photo IDs with your current and complete
name -- and make sure it has an expiration date. Youll need it at the polls to
make sure your vote counts:
A Photo ID issued by the U.S. Federal Government or the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, including:
o A Pennsylvania drivers license or non-drivers license photo ID (PA
drivers licenses and non-drivers photo IDs are valid for voting
purposes 12 months past their expiration date)
o A valid, unexpired U.S. passport
o An unexpired U.S. military ID - active duty and retired military (a
military or veterans ID must designate an expiration date or
designate that the expiration date is indefinite). Military
dependents ID must contain an expiration date and must not be
expired.
o An unexpired Employee photo ID issued by Federal, Pennsylvania,
County or Municipal governments.
An unexpired Student photo ID from an accredited Pennsylvania public
or private institution of higher learning, including Pennsylvania
universities, colleges, seminaries, community colleges, and private twoyear
colleges. Your ID must contain your name, photo, and have a
current expiration date.
Unexpired photo ID cards issued by a Pennsylvania care facility, including
long-term care facilities, assisted-living residences or personal care
homes.
If you dont have any of these forms of ID and need one to be able to
vote, you may be entitled to get one free of charge.

3. VOTE!
Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th, 2012, and the polls will be
open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

ABSENTEE VOTING:
Pennsylvania has absentee voting for certain groups of people, including individuals
who, because of their occupation or business (including leaves of absence for
teaching, vacations and sabbatical leaves), expect to be absent on Election Day. Your
County Board of Elections must receive your application for an absentee ballot no
later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30th, 2012. Your completed absentee ballot
must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd, 2012.
Under Pennsylvanias new ID law, as an absentee voter, you must provide your drivers
license number, the last four digits of Social Security Number, or a copy of an
accepted photo ID when applying for an absentee ballot.

DON'T BE FOOLED INTO COMPLACENCY! VOTER SUPRESSION WILL BE EVERYWHERE, AND EVERY DEM VOTE NEEDS TO COUNT!!!!
