Congressman Dent has no opponents at all. (4 years ago, Dems used the write in process to put a last minute underfunded candidate on the ballot against him).
"Matthew Dietz, a pilot from Wind Gap, and Matt Connolly, a sports car racer from Bethlehem Township, hope for the chance to challenge U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-17th District, in November."
----
6th District has Rep Chester Co Commissioner Ryan Costello vs. Dem Mike Parish and Dem Manan Trivedi, a physician making his third run.
7th District has incumbent Pat Meehan vs. Democrat Mary Ellen Balchunis, a La Salle University political science prof.
8th District has incumbent Fitzpatrick and Dem opponents Kevin Strouse and Shaughnassy Naughton.

11th District has incumbent Barletta and Dem opponent Andy Ostrowski.
In the Lehigh County Senate seat, Repub incumbent Pat Browne is facing Dem Walter Felton.
In the Monroe County Senate seat, Rep Mario Scavello faces 3 Dem opponents.
A large number of state legislative members have no opponents. There is a detailed chart in the paper version of the Morning Call, but it is not online.
----
The 6 major Dem candidates for Governor made the ballot, but minor candidates did not.
--------
Dem Lt. Gov candidates include "former Pennsylvania State University assistant football coach Jay Paterno; State Sen. Mike Stack of Philadelphia; Bradford County Commissioner Mark Smith; Harrisburg City Councilman Brad Koplinski; former U.S. Rep. Mark Critz of Johnstown; and State Rep. Brad Neumann of Washington County.
...In the 13th district that encompasses parts of Northeast Philadelphia and Montgomery County, two Republicans and four Democrats filed for an open seat as incumbent Schwartz runs for governor. Marjorie Margolies was the district congresswoman for a term in the 1990s. Her Democratic primary rivals include State Rep. Brendan Boyle, State Sen. Daylin Leach, and physician Val Arkoosh. On the GOP side are businessman Carson Dee Adcock, who challenged Schwartz in 2010, and retired Air Force Col. Beverly Plosa-Bowser."

The media makes Dent out to be a moderate, but he is not.
Dent voted in favor of Paul Ryan's extremist budget plan.
- Voted against the Affordable Health Care Act
- Voted against the Employee Free Choice Act
- Voted NO on redeploying US troops out of Iraq.
- Voted YES - no exit date.
- Voted against the America Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act.
Dent's scorecard ratings by organizations:
- themiddleclass.org gives Dent zero rating (website details votes).
- League of Conservation Voters - 23% /100.
- Sierra Club - 0%
- NRA - 92%
- John Birch Society - 78%
- Humane Society - 38%
- AFL-CIO - 10%
This is not how Democrats will retake the House of Representatives.
