Pa. Repub Legislators Plan on forcing through agenda in the 2 weeks before Wolf takes office

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/politics/20141115_ap_e8359c2f5f5a4291bbeed3faa23f53d5.html

In a strange constitutional quirk, the new Legislature is sworn in 2 weeks before Wolf takes office. The legislature will be much more Republican because of gerrymandered district boundaries and low turnout. The Repub leadership have recently replaced moderate leaders, and no longer need to negotiate with their moderate members to get things passed.

Therefore, for 2 weeks there will be a conservative nirvana. They still have Corbett in office and they have strong conservative majorities to do whatever they want.

Oh, they also are leaving Wolf with a billion dollar deficit he needs to solve in his first weeks in office. The deficit was created by one time budget tricks in the previous budget and business tax cuts.

Elections have consequences.

we should be prepared for it, AND work HARD on the States, as in H. Dean. Really, we are a CONfederacy, meaning together/with eachother.
