Update: Corbett leaving PA. with a $2.3 billion deficit

So Corbett is leaving a stinking pile of $2.3 billion of deficit on Governor Wolf's doorstep. He's saying - "yea, just go ahead and try to raise school funding, now fool!" In an election year, Corbett and his Repub buddies used lots of one-time budget tricks to make it appear that this year's budget was balanced. Dem legislators have had almost no ability to provide input to the State budget for the last 4 years.

The deficit would have been much worse if Mellon-Scaife hadn't died and his estate paid tens of millions of taxes. At least some good came out of his life.

their state's economies. Wisconsin, Kansas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey. I don't think Michigan is doing too well either.
