GOP State house rep Jim Christiana to challenge Casey
Jim Christiana (PA HD-15) just announced he's running in the GOP primary for the right to challenge Bob Casey in 2018. Christiana was given the sacrcastic nickname "boy wonder" by a local political reporter. IIRC, Christiana term-limited himself as a state rep so these are his last 2 years in the state house.
I am always amazed at these republicans who generally hate government and civil servants yet just want to not only stay in govt, but get promoted!
I think R state house speaker Mike Turzai is also planning to challenge Casey.
