There's a candidate forum among Dem candidates on Saturday, Sept 30th at the Community College of Beaver County (Center Twp) from 2-4PM in the LRC conference room below the library.

The four announced Democratic candidates for the 12th Congressional District seat will participate in a question-and-answer forum at the Community College of Beaver County on Saturday afternoon.
The Turn the 12th Blue: Congressional Candidates Forum will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. in the LRC conference room below the library. The event is sponsored and moderated by the Beaver County Young Democrats and the Progressive Democrats of America -- 12th Congressional District chapter.
U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus, R-Sewickley, has represented the district since 2013. He defeated Democrat Erin McClelland in the 2014 and 2016 general elections.
The four Democrats vying for the partys nomination in the 2018 primary are Aaron Anthony, a former Shaler Area English teacher from Shaler Township; Tom Prigg, a Carnegie Mellon University research associate from McCandless Township; Sewickley attorney Beth Tarasi; and Shaler resident John Stolz, an environmentalist, Duquesne University professor and director of its Center for Environmental Research and Education.
