Please RSVP by noon on FRIDAY so that I can give Pappa's a head count to set up our table. However, if you find yourself free at the last minute, join us! There is always room for one (or even several) more.
A note on the location: Pappa's Burger is right off Interstate-30 in Fort Worth at the Forest Park exit and next to Pappasito's and Pappadeaux. If the Forest Park exit is closed due to construction, use the Summit exit just east of that and continue to westbound Freeway road on the north side of the interstate. That will take you to Pappa's. Their number is (817) 870-9736.

Mark Greene Democratic candidate for Congress will be attending our September 8th luncheon at Pappa's Burgers! Mark is running for Congress against incumbent Kay Granger (R) in district 12.
Please show your support for Mark and the Democratic party by attending our next Meetup! Put Sunday September 8th on your calendar and RSVP for the luncheon. It will be very informative and an opportunity to learn about campaigning and activist opportunities, if not on this campaign on another.

Since I won't be able to make it, I'll gladly give you a rec in lieu of my absence. I assume that you'll let in a liberal dude join the group on occasions such as this. Please keep us informed about the meeting and best wishes from TxT for the event. 
however, that is usually in the evening. So, I might be able to attend.
I know candidate Mark Greene. We went to high school together, although I didn't know him then. He was part of the Tarrant Obama group back before Obama was even a candidate for President.
He'll have a hard fought battle against deep pockets (Lockheed Martin) Granger, but I definitely will help in whatever capacity I can.
