Occupy Protesters Ejected From Dallas School Board Meeting (Teachers Also Demonstrate)

Longer work days without any extra pay drew about 30 Dallas schoolteachers wearing masks to Thursday night's school board meeting.

The teachers chanted and waved signs outside the auditorium before the meeting began.

The Dallas Independent School District board has already approved a measure that extends teachers' workdays by 45 minutes.

While teachers were protesting outside, members of the Occupy Dallas movement went inside for a demonstration of their own.

They need to stand up for themselves too!

School Boards and the State of Texas treat teachers like they were indentured servants. I feel for them. They do not get the respect or the pay they deserve!
