Willie Nelson Band's tour bus for sale on Craigslist

SAN ANTONIO — Craigslist is useful for a slew of reasons: trade a La-Z-Boy for a shotgun, find a roommate or lessee and now, buy a tour bus used by the Willie Nelson Band in the 1980s.

That's right, one of four tour buses used by the legendary Texan and his band decades ago is up for grabs on the classified advertisements website, and it's a beauty.

The highest bid as of Friday morning is $36,000 from a private buyer out of Dallas, said Alen Vidovic, who is selling the restored 1983 Eagle Bus designed by Florida Coach for Paul English, the drummer and tour manager for the Willie Nelson Band, according to a plaque inside the bus.

Vidovic said he's received about 70 inquiries via text, email and phone in 5 days of posting the ad and is closing bidding this weekend.
