Comptroller: Be Vigilant, Changes Will Always Occur
Texas Comptroller Susan Combs gave some advice to business leaders, elected officials and community members in Tyler on Thursday.

Comptroller Combs spoke to about 25 people about state finances at the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce.
She talked about Medicaid and public education spending, federal regulations and other issues affecting Texas and addressed questions from the audience.
She said her "ultimate message" was to be very vigilant because something always changes.

The one that has me though is who is she trying to fool saying that she favors spending for public education as the budgets for school districts continue to be slashed? Didn't she get the memo from the Tea Party or is this lip service because another election will arrive in the future?[/font]
