We won't have Ralph Hall to kick around anymore.

Ralph Hall, 91 years young, is losing in the District #4 primary runoff tonight.

His teabagger opponent, John Ratcliffe has 21,861 votes while Hall has 19,589 votes with over 93% of the precincts counted.

Another Dixiecrat turncoat bites the dust.

At this point I'd say that none of the elected Republicans in Texas can claim they were former democratic activists who--(cough, cough, hack, hack)--"saw the light"--(cough, cough, hack, hack). They were Rethuglies all from start to finish.

But who could elect Ratcliffe to any office. There's going to be a tipping point in Texas. There are now further right factions of the tea party fighting with the establishment tea party over creationism. Democrats should step up their game this year. It's time for the chronically apathetic Democrats and sane Independents to come to the rescue. Remember the Alamo.
