When the outbreak of drug "overdoses" occurred in Austin and Dallas back in April, I posted "keep it real."

what a store! I have never seen so many types of paraphenalia in my life! Must have been a 5000sf store with rows and shelves of merchandise. But glad they are getting that fake sh*t off the street.

I sure hope Dallas doesn't lose The Gas Pipe locations but it appears they will.

I am still a bit confused. The Gas Pipe stores were not bought with synthetic marijuana profits. The Ridglea, homes and cars maybe, but the stores have been around forever... Long before synthetic weed.

I don't understand how they can seize the stores. Some seriously messed up laws anyway that allow the govt to run over the defendant financially.

And so the supplier has been nailed for growing weed, and I guess the Feds want him for manufacturing synthetic drugs ( which I guess is against the law unless you are a pharmaceutical). He was staying ahead of the law with slight chemical changes apparently each time the Feds added to their illegal list. But I guess the manufacturing law was created to nail anyone they could find making synthetic weed, even if the chemical was not yet identified.

Don't understand why the owners of the gas pipe would not also be charged, since they apparently took over manufacturing at the maple ave location...

This whole thing is messed up and doesn't make total sense yet. Will be following...

Btw, the real thing is much better and if it wasn't illegal all of these synthetics would have never been created...

I went by gas pipe a week or so ago...
