全lutWalk' protesters march against blame

Stop blaming the victim.

That was the message from about 300 protesters who took to Alamo Plaza on Saturday for the city's first “SlutWalk” — a movement that grew from cases in which sexual assault victims were discredited because of the way they dressed.

Signs and chants rallied against the idea that a woman is “asking for it” if she dressed provocatively.

It's the woman's fault. She was wearing clothes that meant she was asking for it.

Sometimes I wonder what alternate universe I'm living in where women are still perceived as being so unequal in the world. And the most disgusting to me is that the U.S. is actually the one making so many moves backwards. And all with the help of WOMEN! Republican women are selling us out. I can expect it of the republican men but from women? Republican women have become Stepford wives.
