Where are police being trained? They are trained to fight terrorists and they practice on school kids?

Rarely is there a case these days where a unanimous ruling has occurred, but one was issued recently that said a warrant is needed before someone has to give up their cell phone to be searched.

If policy is no cell phones, or if it was determined that cell phone use was inappropriate, and there is a standoff in that a student does not want to comply with school authority, where do you go from there? It's always going to look bad when there is intervention.

Can you imagine having 30 students on a cell phone during class; talking, texting or sexting during lessons and note taking or how about during science or language lab? Students can be very addicted to cell phones to the point that they are not paying any attention to an officer, administrator, teacher or even their parents. A student can be excused to go see a counselor or the school nurse if that upset. Many times parents lie to keep their child out of Saturday School or before or after school detention because they have to change their schedule to fit the student's consequences. Students can go to the rest room with a cell phone or can check for messages at the very end of class or during the passing periods between classes. There is Homeroom and lunch also. Many schools block Facebook and other social media as the problem is so bad now. Many teachers make students keep a room folder to show how time was spent. After student are on social media via their cell phones in every class, they go home with a homework assignment that they cannot do. Who gets blamed? The school. Who does the State blame for failure on end of course exams? The school district and/or teachers.

after warnings and school detention does not stop it. Parents may be adding to the delinquency of a minor. What if the parent cannot pay the fine?
