In Defense Of The Confederate Flag (satire)

By Sebastian Burnham

I am a 15 year old Senior currently living in Austin Texas. Apart from writing I also run the online charitable business The Free Aid Project and invest in various domains. I'm also an enthusiastic piano player and plan to start a YouTube Channel in the near future. You can Contact me directly at burnhamsebastian(at)gmail.com

The recent events in Charleston have shocked me beyond my ability to express my anger. A man murdered 9 blacks in cold blood daring to have justified himself with the flag and the ideas of my beloved historical heritage. I'm sure any sensible person reading this can comprehend my outrage, can feel my pain too learn that the Libtard masses are now daring to correlate the flag of an honorable rebellion by my forefathers in defense of their right to property with racism.

But it gets worse, the flag under attack is not the official confederate flag but the battle flag of northern Virginia's confederate army! How dare they try to draw parallels between the heros who fought to the death for their freedom of property and suffered the trauma of being forced to kill for it with a stupid redneck who shot up a black church under the excuse of a race war! Come on libtards for once have some common sense.

Even more outrageously I have witnessed my fellow conservatives sacrifice their moral duty for political expediency. Indeed, I tell you, many have crumbled when told that their esteem for their beloved flag constitutes an endorsement of racism just like esteeming a Nazi flag would constitute hatred of Jews. But guess what lemmings? Raising the Nazi banner is not Antisemitic.
It is simply the acknowledgement of a heritage. It is the acknowledgement of the grand effort to create a great and safe Germany just like raising the Confederate flag is an acknowledgement of a grand effort to create a free land where property rights where respected above all else. It does not matter that Hitler's safe vision of Germany was conditioned on the annihilation of millions of Jews, Gypsies, Gays, Russians and Poles. It is likewise irrelevant whether or not the Confederate vision of property included millions of enslaved human beings. After all every great vision has it's flaws, some visions are impractical, but all the visions of heritage should be esteemed and acknowledged.

Finally I would like to state that many darn conservative traitors who acknowledge the importance of our heritage have dared to say that state buildings are not the place for Controversial flags. Isn't it funny that we have reached such a dreaded point as too be less rational than liberals in GERMANY! Those guys have their universal healthcare, their gun control, their high minimum wage and even they understand the value of heritage. Have none of my colleagues left the country or something? Have they not seen the Nazi flag flying high over Berlin?
