When Prime Prep Academy shut down, another school inherited “anarchy” (Deion Sanders' school)

When Prime Prep Academy closed in January under a heap of debt and lawsuits, about 60 former students landed at another Dallas charter school two and a half miles away.

The results for Triple A Academy were academic problems, bad behavior and even “anarchy” that threaten the school’s future.

“Those children had no choice in that school being closed,” said Leroy McClure, the founder of Triple A Academy (which serves 7th to 12th grade) and its sister school, Focus Learning Academy (pre-kindergarten to 6th). “They needed a school, so we were there to help them.”
