The KKK is recruiting in one Round Rock neighborhood. FOX 7 spoke with one of their members who says, they aren't doing anything illegal. This leaves residents there concerned.
It was three weeks ago when KKK recruiting pamphlets were passed out in Austin. Now similar flyers are being found in Round Rock.
Walking down the sidewalk in the Forest Creek Neighborhood, several residents got an unexpected surprise.
It was a Ziploc bag with a rock and a recruitment flyer for the Ku Klux Klan.

My apologies for the source.

(9 posts)A KKK Telethon in Lubbock would likely raise a ton of cash and be a great recruiting measure.

(112,453 posts)with the hiatus of the Mr. Conservative blog in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal. I guess that they finally realized that he was an announced candidate after it was published in their own newspaper.
However, I think that the KKK could have found some better neighborhoods to target for recruitment than in Round Rock.

(9 posts)A friend notified me of that great news.
It comes as no surprise that the LAJ/LOL didn't suspend the blog until a reader commented on the situation...I've no doubt that they would have continued supporting their favorite phony "conservative" by publishing his crazy rants, otherwise.

(112,453 posts)He voluntarily ended his "It's Debatable" series with Dr. Loewy, but they continued to let him post a blog for over a week while the comments kept asking why they were allowing his blog to continue. The good news is that it appears that several candidates have announced their intentions to run for District 19 (I believe that the current count is 5 Republicans and 1 Democrat). They have experience that is equal or surpasses Mr. Conservative so I believe his chances of getting out of the primary race are slim.
