U.S. marshals join search for ‘affluenza’ teen Ethan Couch

U.S. marshals have joined the search for the teenager whose “affluenza” defense spared him from jail after he killed four people while driving drunk.

Officials say Ethan Couch, 18, is wanted on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation by failing to check in with his probation officer. Authorities fear he may have left the country.

Samantha Jordan, the Tarrant County district attorney’s spokeswoman, confirmed the U.S. Marshals Service is involved.

The FBI also has been in contact with the county sheriff’s office and is “looking at ways we can assist,” spokeswoman Allison Mahan said.

Now my tax dollars as a resident of a state that is not Texas are paying to clean up a local Texas matter. They had a chance to put this derelict away and they blew it. The little shit and his mother are probably visiting their money in the cayman islands by now.
