TCU boots frat for having guns, dealing drugs, 'raging like no tomorrow,' student says

FORT WORTH -- Eight years ago, Texas Christian University officials spent months pondering whether to suspend Phi Kappa Sigma over alcohol violations and other misconduct. They temporarily took away the fraternity's house on campus.

But the fraternity regained its privileges the following year, even winning an award for "most improved chapter."

The improvement didn't last.

TCU has closed its chapter of the fraternity after determining the behavior of some of its members was putting other people in the chapter at risk, according to a statement from the university.
