Waiter escapes headlock and fires 3 rounds into ceiling at iconic San Antonio restaurant

Gunfire erupted around 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Little Red Barn Steakhouse after a customer became unhappy with a meal, WOAI-TV reported.

The customer confronted the waiter and put him in a headlock after the two started to fight, police said.

The customer "was the one that threw the first punch," witness Crystal Halliday said. "He was a larger man, so he was on top of the waiter, beating him up pretty bad. I believe he also hit him with a computer that was there at the hostess stand."

Police said the waiter, who hasn't been identified, was able to get out of the headlock. He then pulled out a gun and fired three rounds at the ceiling.
