Activists whose protest was prelude to Dallas ambush will march again tonight, calling for police to come clean
A Dallas activist group met outside police headquarters Thursday to call for more transparency from the local force and an end to police brutality nationwide.
Leaders of the Next Generation Action Network spoke around 11 a.m., hours before a planned protest at Main Street Garden Park.
"We're here today because once again we have these officer-involved shootings," said Damon Crenshaw, president of the group, adding that the organization plans to protest shootings in Charlotte, Tulsa and across the U.S.
They said the 6:30 p.m. protest would be a march but did not specify the route.
