Waco Tribune-Herald printing, production moves to sister paper in Bryan
Seven years after ceasing press operations at the newspapers production plant in Waco, the Waco Tribune-Herald again has its own press.
The Tribune-Herald has moved its printing to a new production site at its sister publication, The Bryan-College Station Eagle, effective this weekend. Both the Tribune-Herald and the Eagle are owned by Berkshire Hathaway Media.
A second press, dedicated to printing the Tribune-Herald, is being installed at the Eagles production plant in Bryan. Printing and mailroom operations officially moved to Bryan on Friday, and the Tribune-Herald will move to its new press line after installation and testing is completed this week.
We are very excited to have our own press line. We expect great things from the press team: better reproduction, overall quality and timing, Tribune-Herald Publisher Jim Wilson said. Our operation will become more flexible and responsive. We ask our readers to pardon our dust as we work out the kinks of new trucking challenges and deadlines.
