Affidavit: Toddler drowned in tub during mom's 'booty call' in North Texas
A North Texas woman is facing felony charges for her fatal decision to allegedly leave her three young daughters unattended in a bath tub while spending time with a "booty call," according to local media reports.
The case out of Alvord, about 70 miles north of Dallas, involves 26-year-old Amanda Ann Clark, a mother of three girls ages 6, 3 and 1.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by WFAA, Clark told investigators she was "visiting a male companion" in her bedroom behind a closed door on Oct. 23 when her youngest child Alexandria, who would've turned 2 on Nov. 4, drowned in a tub.
Clark's "male companion," told investigators he was at her home for a "booty call" and the mother grabbed the girls, who were playing in the living room, and put them all in the tub before the two adults went into the bedroom, WFAA reported.
