El Paso judge says other judge waved middle finger at him
An El Paso County judge filed a report with the Sheriffs Office claiming disorderly conduct by a district court judge who he says started waving his middle finger directly in his face in the El Paso County Courthouse parking lot, according to an incident report.
County Court at Law No. 1 Judge Ricardo Herrera filed the report Nov. 9 claiming that 384th District Court Judge Patrick Garcia confronted him the previous day in the courthouse parking lot at 500 E. Overland Ave., according to the incident report obtained by the El Paso Times.
Garcia declined to comment on the incident. Herreras court coordinator said that Herrera was too busy and did not have time to talk to the Times on Thursday. Herrera did not respond to a message left with his court coordinator.
Herrera told sheriff deputies that at about noon on Nov. 8, Garcia walked up to him and extended his hand toward him in a hand shaking motion, the report states.
