"Texas Monthly" hits a new low with this month's cover story.

"Dan Patrick. In Charge." I shit you not, I just saw it at the HEB. There's ol' Dan, with the typical hate-drenched expression on this face.....and a fucking gavel in his hands. No, I'm not making this up. All that are missing from the portrait are the SS epaulettes and an Iron Cross.

I don't need to read the article, and neither does any other Democrat. I can promise you it's just the standard blowjob-y puff piece of a Texas republican politician---because that's the only kind of political story that "Texas Monthly" does, anymore. I wonder when, if ever, we're going to wake up.

Glad I'm not the only one when noticed puff pieces of the right taking over. It made me cancel my subscription.

Then all their writers hauled ass to write their novels ("The Gates Of The Alamo" is the best of the bunch), and it's been downhill, ever since.

That makes sense. I've actually had a few of those books cross my path. Yeah, you nailed the problem.

but I'll check out their Website occasionally. I'm going to post one article from there in a few minutes.

However, I agree that their overall political coverage sucks.
