it is truly and odd thing to see...and amazing. Oh, and the area around Marfa is just beautiful.

we call them the 'spook lights', located on a gravel road between the states of Missouri and Kansas...pretty neat, seen them a couple of times, and there is information on internet if you wish to do a search...it's been a long time since I've been but I'm sure that there is more information about how to get to/etc. via internet...

Three of us were out doing a survey for a series of TV remotes for the Dallas station I worked for in the '90s. We had knocked off for the day and since there wasn't too much to do in Marfa after they rolled up the sidewalks we drove out to the highway pull-off constructed for people to watch the lights. And there they were. One of the oddest things I have ever seen.
