CORPUS CHRISTI -- Cats of all shapes and sizes from all over the country and the world made a stop in Corpus Christi on Saturday to strut their stuff at the 16th annual International Feline Showcase.
More than 150 cats were judged in 18 rings set aside in a show hall at the Omni Bayfront Hotel for this year's theme, Anchors Aweigh. The show will run through Sunday.
Judges awarded the cats based on pedigree standards of their breeds picking their favorite top 10. Each win being its own accomplishment.
"This show is not like a dog show," said Jim Armel, co-show manager of the showcase. "If you're an animal lover or cat lover this is the best type of show you will ever see."
