I guess I should have already posted a blog pointing out that the Texas Republican Party has once again voted NOT to allow the Log Cabin Republicans to have a booth at the state convention.
But since its happened the same way every time for the last 20 years, I guess I am just surprised that anybody might have expected a different outcome.
Michael Baker, chair of LCRs Texas state chapter, told the Austin American- Statesman: Nothing happens overnight. Id hoped by 2018 we could have been a lot further than we are, but here we are.

Sure they may be conservative, but they also support TAKING AWAY health care from people, putting their grandparents out in the streets, starving the hungry, opposing reproductive rights, tax cuts for the rich, and on down the line.

(1,896 posts)I'd pretty much have to conclude things have been going backwards rather than "we could have been a lot further." Never mind speed, they're actually going in the wrong direction.
No idea what these guys are thinking.
