South Texas mayor sends letter backing college student who caught racist tirade on video

Kingsville mayor Sam Fugate is backing a college student who caught a racist tirade on video.

He got out of the car and began berating Alghamdi, who was still in his vehicle, the article states.

On May 24, Fugate wrote a letter that was sent to the university, where it was distributed to the students, said Terisa Riley, senior vice president.
