'Asian Nazi' asks judge to reprimand his Dallas defense attorney for 'political motive'

Dallas defense attorney Mick Mickelsen "is acting more like a prosecutor than a zealous advocate" for his client, according to a handwritten note a Gregg County jail inmate sent a judge.

Heon Yoo, from Tyler, is being held on federal firearms violations charges. Self-styled as the "Asian Nazi" on social media, he gained notoriety for creating videos such as "Sieg Heil Taylor Swift!" and speaking about his white supremacist views on University of North Texas and University of Texas at Tyler campuses.

"I believe at this point he has a political motive to get me convicted, since he actually told me 'You have poor judgement. Trump hates you because you are an immigrant,'" Yoo wrote.

Mickelsen declined to comment on the case, but he noted Yoo "has an interesting personality."

"Yoo wants to be released so he can research his case with a law library and the internet. He says Mickelsen did not send him his indictment paperwork or inform him that he was ineligible to purchase a firearm.

He argues that he should be allowed to do so because none of his charges — aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass with a deadly weapon, unlawful transfer of weapons and criminal trespass — are violent."

-sounds if Yoo wants to defend himself. let him have at it. he'll probably get a stiffer penalty. moron. but wait there's more....

"Yoo says he is not a security risk because his guns have been seized, and his grandfather would not tolerate his trying to flee."

-yeah, basement dwelling nazi asshole.

Lock him in his grandfather's basement with no telephone or Internet. Leave him a gun with one bullet and instruct him to use it wisely.
