Frisco man struggling to get job wanted to keep $60M fraud indictment from prospective employers. A judge said no.


A Frisco man is looking for work. He's got credentials as an accountant and management experience as a top executive.

He also has been accused of running a $60 million health care fraud scheme. But he'd rather not have to tell prospective employers about that.

Bradley J. Harris, 37, asked a judge on Friday to be allowed to keep his indictment in the sweeping federal case under wraps while job hunting.

Federal authorities say Harris is a mastermind behind a scheme to defraud Medicare and Medicaid out of millions of dollars through his now-shuttered hospice companies. A 31-page indictment from February 2017 alleges profits took priority over patient care at Novus Health Services and Optim Health Services, where Harris was CEO.

The judge got it correct. It's in the public interest for the man to have to disclose the indictment.

I wouldn't want my potential employers to know about my $60 million fraud indictment either
