Texas voter rolls grow to 15.6M ahead of midterm election

HOUSTON—Texas has set a new voter registration record of 15.6 million people ahead of the highly anticipated Senate race between Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke.

Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos told the Houston Chronicle that the state's voter rolls have grown by 1.6 million since the last midterm election in 2014.

Election records show that Texas has seen a 400,000-voter increase since March. The state on average added just over 100,000 voters a year between 2002 and 2014.

"Recently, we have heard from a number of county election officials who tell us they are witnessing voter registration rates and voter enthusiasm in a midterm year that we usually see before presidential-year elections, which is phenomenal," Pablos said. "On the whole, we are seeing Texans become more engaged, which is very healthy for the future of our state."

Because Texans know he's a serial liar, and has voted hurting health care for millions of people from giving huge tax breaks , permanent ones, for the super wealthy , or paying back their contributions they gave to their campaigns, or bribes to Cruz and many others. They are destroying Medicaid , Medicare, and now working to destroy Social Security too for seniors , and screw over many getting closer to retirement. They don't care about the working people , just their donors. Many I know are running from trump and ted cruz, and hate his guts now, like trump. They know he's a serial liar , and no one lies that much that isn't corrupt. He will get voted out because he is so hated here now. Even in Congress he's the most hated person, even his own party agree's and hates him a lot. I think Texans have had enough of liar cruz , and he'll be done soon. If its exposed he took any money funneled to him thru others from russians, and putin he's really in trouble, or has ties with Cambridge Analytica. Ted and trump has lied over and over again about health care, and many other issues. Beto is very popular , but the hatred for Cruz is behind the switch away from him, and Beto just makes that a lot easier to do now. Cruz will vote to hurt women , and freedoms along with putin and trumps wishes.
