The first shooting involved Lamar High School student Delindsey Mack, who was gunned down Tuesday about a block away from the school campus. Houston police believe three suspects targeted the 18-year-old outside the Bethany Christian Church parking lot.
The second shooting occurred Friday morning at a South Side gas station, where two hooded attackers drove up next to two men sitting in the the back seat of a car and opened fire, according to earlier reports.
The men were both taken to the hospital but are expected to survive.
