I live in one of those hazardous areas. Fireworks were seriously insane last night, going on for several hours. Most I've heard, by far, in the 3 years I've lived here.

In our residential neighborhood their were lots of people firing off tons of fireworks including many that looked and sounded more suitable for public fireworks displays in more wide open and safety supervised events. I took my dogs out near midnight to use the restroom. Big mistake. It sounded like a battle zone and they were too stressed out to do their business (at least until we got back inside of course). Finally went to bed around 2am only to be shaken up by two loud explosions at 2:42am.

Wondering if more powerful explosives are getting cheaper/ more common each year?
