There are a lot of "fake virus" and "it's just a bad flu" people about to face a harsh reality.

Covid-19 couldn't care less if you believe in it, or if you disregard its dangers. Actually, if it were a living sentient entity it would prefer we be so stupid.

I have a client whose an epidemiologist in Texas. He said expect 8k a day in a month, six weeks tops. At the rate we're going Im not doubtful he's correct. Then there's Houston, where they're speculating it's potentially the new NYC and that the face mask rule was too little too late. Meanwhile, the 4th Of July is around the corner people are going to pack the tourist destinations in unregulated communities while spreading their money and Covid. Many 4th festivals are back on, theme parks and bars are open at 50% capacity, restaurants (indoor dining is truly risky) are at 75%.

What could go wrong?

Good article, Shell.

8K is more than double. He needs to shut it down now. By the time we hit 8K, we'll still have two more weeks of it going up.

Who've fully recovered before they're added to the tolls. We're behind in reporting and it will stay behind. It's by design, but it will bite them in their butts in the end.

I know a woman, personally, who died from Covid from my area, but was added to another county because she was a nursing home patient died in route to a hospital (3 hours away for some reason?) and that's how it's done in Texas? Her obit was posted here and she's stated as being a resident of our county. Yet her Covid-19 death is recorded in another county. However, if you're from out of my county, staying here in your second home and test positive, it's attributed to the address of your primary home on your drivers license. No matter where you're currently residing.

The point I'm making is they're playing fast and loose with our numbers to give an allusion of pocketed safety for as long as they can manage it.

I live in a resort area where many people from all our major cities come to, and are currently bouncing between their home cities with their infection rates, and here. They're trying to "hide from it" in their "safe" homes here. It's spreading here, needless to say.
