Arrest warrant issued for former hand surgeon Michael Brown

A Harris County judge Thursday issued a warrant for former surgeon Michael Brown's arrest because he did not attend a hearing.
Attorneys for Brown said conditions of his bail for a recent arrest in Florida, including no commercial air flight, kept him from Thursday's hearing in which he was expected to ask for more time with his children. He has been embroiled in a custody case with Rachel Brown, his fourth ex-wife, for more than a year.
Michael Brown was arrested Jan. 2, accused of choking a flight attendant and threatening to strip naked on a flight from London to Miami.

Brown is charged with intimidating and interfering with the duties of a flight attendant, a federal offense. He faces six months behind bars if convicted.

To post bail, Dean specified, Brown must put up $500,000 in cash.
