'Thinking about staying': Kyle Rittenhouse shows interest in attending Texas A&M University
Kyle Rittenhouse, who was acquitted from multiple charges in connection to killing two men and wounding another during street protests in Wisconsin in 2020, could become an Aggie. The 18-year-old hinted at the possibility of attending Texas A&M University during a visit.
"ASU has been fun, but becoming an Aggie might be better," Rittenhouse wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday, April 28.
In a later Instagram post on Saturday, April 30, Rittenhouse wrote he's "thinking about staying" in Texas. He posted a photo of him in the "Howdy Chair."
Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounded Gaige Grosskreutz with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle during a tumultuous night of protests in the summer of 2020. In his closely watched trial, Rittenhouse pleaded self-defense in the deadly shootings.

I hope that Kyle decides not to attend Texas A&M. I live four miles away from the campus and I really want to be able to go outside without wondering if I'll be chosen by Kyle for target practice.

to matriculate. However, he shouldn't receive a scholarship and he should be put at the bottom of the housing list.
Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't "recognized" by the city council and police association of College Station. I'm going to feel vulnerable when I wheel myself along Texas Avenue when I have to go out for groceries and other errands if he moves here.
