Buzbee claims photos of him are doctored

Buzbee is a major league TFG supporter and really likes his dye job.

Ken Paxton’s attorney Tony Buzbee began Thursday with a peculiar accusation: That the media has been doctoring photos to make him appear more “tan.”

In a post to his Instagram, Buzbee posted photos from “two different reputable news organizations” that he said show him with dramatically different skin colors. One of the photos appears to be a screenshot from a livestream of the Senate trial.

“I am out in the sun a lot, but I don’t think my skin has ever been that ‘tan,’” Buzbee wrote. “Why would they doctor my pic? I’m sure you could take a guess. So you think the news isn’t bias? Think again.”

As if the impeachment trial of Attorney General Ken Paxton didn’t have enough scandal, his attorney, Tony Buzbee, had to go and invent tan-gate. In an Instagram post, Buzbee accused “reputable news organizations” of doctoring photos of him to make his tan appear orange. His Oompa Loompa hue stood out to us, too, and Buzbee probably deserved the vengeance of a few journalists after his opening argument seemed to blame all of Paxton’s alleged indiscretions on the misleading messengers in the media. But we don’t think photography editors had time to cook Buzbee’s complexion since they were so busy trying to snap a quick pic of catch-me-if-you-can Paxton before he fled from the Senate floor after his required initial appearance. What to make of the discrepancies in skin tone in various images? Some blamed the Senate’s odd lighting and deep green furnishings. When asked later which media organization he was accusing, Buzbee said he didn’t know and he’d moved on. “I can see myself in the mirror. And I can see the pics sent to me by multiple people asking me to use sunscreen. That’s really all there is to it,” he told the Houston Chronicle. Our theory is that exertion played a part in Buzbee’s fresh-out-the-panini-press look as he strenuously worked to defend actions of the attorney general that to many, are indefensible.

Here are some examples that I have seen

Someone needs to explain words like contrast, color gradient, resolution etc. I know one of the sources for one of the photos was cspan and I'm quite sure they do not stream in anything close to HD. More importantly, he's an idiot.

And just on Buzbee—everybody else in the video looked normal.

Darn the diabolical local news special effects department and their outrageous budget!!!

Who DOES that in court, especially when you want the jury to vote your way?
