A house fire in Prince William County, Virginia, on Friday led to a family of 20 being displaced. … Officials told WTOP that the fire started in one of the bedrooms and it spread throughout the house, leading to extensive smoke and water damage.

Town of Quantico Councilman Sammoto Yomosa Dabney told WTOP the family — consisting of Mykal Coles, his two wives Alicia and Jasmine, and 17 of their children — lost all of their belongings as a result of the fire.

According to officials, the children were at school and Jasmine was home alone when the fire happened. She was able to escape uninjured.

With help from the American Red Cross, the family is temporarily staying at a hotel while they figure out their next steps, officials said.

For a lot of RW commentary, try this:

Five adults, 15 children displaced in Dale City house fire
By Kari Pugh Mar 9, 2024

A Friday afternoon fire in Dale City sparked by a candle igniting bedding displaced 20 people, 15 of them children, fire officials said.

Firefighters were called to the 6100 block of Oust Lane at 1:30 p.m., where they found all occupants out of the house and fire in a second-floor bedroom.

"Hose lines were advanced quickly, and extinguishment was performed," Prince William County fire and rescue Assistant Chief Matt Smolsky said in a release. No injuries were reported but the house "unfortunately sustained moderate damage," he said.

Building officials declared the home unsafe to occupy and the Red Cross responded and assisted the family of five adults and 15 children who were displaced.

While it's not the childrens'(28 total between the two wives) fault that their parents are scumbags, no one in the situation deserves a GoFundMe. 20 people in one house was a fire hazard from the word go, and D level celebrity Dad should be investigated for his polygamy, sketchy "love products" and how many subsidies the family gets from our taxes. http://www.therealmykal.com/
