Obama drops by Alexandria to boost Beyer on primary day

Former Lt. Gov. Don Beyer got a big boost on primary day as President Barack Obama stopped in Alexandria and met with some of his election workers.

Beyer tweeted a photo of the president greeting some canvassers for his campaign in the Del Ray neighborhood.

Maybe he stopped for a pizza too?

was the best champion for animals, but HSUS sent an email supporting Beyer. So I hope Beyer will fight as hard as Jim Moran did for animals and for other Dem causes.
