Campbell not backing from Confederate flag stance after threat

Danville City Councilman Larry Campbell is angry even angrier than he was when he was told by law enforcement Tuesday that a group called Anonymous CSA was threatening him and two other men in Virginia with repercussions if they continue to seek the removal of Confederate flags.
The news was delivered to Campbell by Danville Police Chief Philip Broadfoot three hours before Tuesdays scheduled council meeting. Campbell said Broadfoot received the information about the threat from the Virginia Fusion Center, which, according to its website, is an agency set up to combine information from various local, state and federal agencies, as well as the public, to combat terrorism and to deter criminal activity ...
Campbell has been open about wanting to see the Confederate flag on the lawn of the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History a city-owned property removed from atop a Confederate war memorial.
