Wayne Powell 'well received' at Montpelier, VA, T-party forum yesterday.

wherein Cantor did not appear. This is the word, from a friend who works on Wayne Powell's campaign:

Most of them said they didn't agree with Wayne on everything, but at least he showed up. They applauded him, took pictures of the empty chair they had ready for Cantor. He was very well received.

If you would like to contribute to the campaign directly, we have had a special link set up just for DU. 100% of your contribution goes to Powell’s campaign and it using this link gives DU the credit. If you send a check via snail mail, just add DU to the memo.

impressive, I don't understand why Virginia support Cantor, because I get the impression he rarely leaves DC. I don't think he cares about is constituent.

but not for his District; elsewhere, making $ for himself (or other repugs) around the country. His constituents complain they rarely see him,

Eric Cantor claims to be an involved, hardworking congressman. Well he's definitely hardworking. The problem is, none of it benefits the people of the 7th District. Here is a link to Mr. Cantor's fundraising schedule since March of this year. Are we to believe he's had time to make stops in Miami and Beverly Hills but couldn't hold a single public event in his own district? His constituents deserve better.
